Role Description

As an ALDI Logistics Coordinator, you manage the real-time administrative and operational coordination of inbound supplier shipments, store delivery routing, and warehouse inventory staging. Working inside our regional distribution center office, you operate logistics management systems to build efficient truck routes, monitor freight arrival schedules, process shipping documentation, and coordinate carrier appointments. You serve as a critical communication bridge between suppliers, transport dispatchers, warehouse leads, and store managers to ensure flawless supply chain continuity. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the distribution facility office with zero remote work options.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and optimize daily store delivery routes using advanced transportation management software (TMS).
• Coordinate inbound freight delivery appointments with third-party carriers and agricultural suppliers.
• Monitor delivery status dashboards, identifying route delays and re-routing shipments to meet store receiving windows.
• Process shipping manifests, bills of lading (BOL), electronic logging data, and carrier freight invoices accurately.
• Communicate real-time delivery updates to store managers, transport leads, and warehouse shipping docks.
• Track freight transport metrics, generating daily volume throughput and fuel efficiency reports for logistics leads.
• Resolve order discrepancies, damaged shipment documentation, and dock appointment changes promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation dispatching, or supply chain administration.
• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Excel, and logistics tracking software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and multi-tasking capabilities.

Job Type & Schedule
